This Privacy Policy describes how Alberta Lawn Enforcement ("we"/"us"/"Alberta Lawn Enforcement") collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User" / "You") of the www.albertalawnmaintenance.com website ("Website"). Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer or cellphone and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information. Aggregate information, such as demographic statistics of our users (e.g. average age or geographical location of our users), number of visitors, what pages users access or visit, and average time spent on the Services is not considered Personal Information. How we collect and use information. Alberta Lawn Enforcement collects and uses Users personal information for the following purposes: To improve customer service, to provide the services, to personalize the user experience, to understand how our services are being used, to improve our Services, to process transactions, to administer contests, promotions and surveys, to send communications that Users subscribe for, to send notifications and to respond to enquiries and requests. More specifically we collect and use information as follows:
• Request A Quote: In order to request a quote for our Services you must provide certain Personal Information to us such as your name and email address.
• Payments: Clients must pay for the services by cash, cheque or credit card unless otherwise arranged with Alberta Lawn Enforcement. All payment information is stored by our Payment Processor, and not by Alberta Lawn Enforcement. We do not process, hold, or store any User credit card or payment information. If you are purchasing one-time services, you must pay for the services in advance. If you have registered with us for recurring services, your credit card will be charged upon completion of the services, as the price may vary from your base quote depending on, for example, the amount of snowfall.
• Transactional Notifications: We provide notifications for certain activities relating to your use of our Services despite your indicated e-mail preferences, for example we may send you notices of any updates to our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.
• Marketing Communications: If you opt-in to receive marketing communications from us such as our newsletter, we will keep you up to date on our products and services. You may withdraw your consent to receiving marketing communications from us at any time by following the opt-out instructions in each communication.
• Statistics: We also collect statistics about use of the Services which we use for analytics including predictive analytics. Aggregate statistics that do not personally identify an individual will be kept by us and such aggregate statistics may be made available to other members or third parties.
